Accessibility statement

What we have done

• Semantic HTML with landmark regions, so assistive technology can navigate the page structure
• One h1 per page and a strict heading hierarchy with no skipped levels
• A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element
• Visible keyboard focus indicators on every interactive element
• Text alternatives on all meaningful images; decorative images marked as such
• Colour contrast derived from brand tokens rather than hand-set, so text-on-background combinations meet AA by construction
• Content that reflows to 320px width without horizontal scrolling
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting
• Pages that work with JavaScript disabled — the site is static, and the only script is the mobile menu toggle

What we know is imperfect

Being honest is more useful than claiming full conformance:

• This statement is based on our own testing, not an independent audit
• Some product screenshots convey information that their alt text summarises rather than fully reproduces
• The contact form has not yet been tested with every screen reader and browser combination
• We have not yet tested with users who rely on assistive technology day to day, which is the test that matters most

How we test

Automated checks run against the site during development. Automated tools catch a portion of issues; keyboard order, focus management and whether alt text is actually meaningful are reviewed by a person.

If something on this site does not work for you, email hello@2labs.ca. Tell us the page and what happened, and include your browser and assistive technology if you can. We will acknowledge within two business days and tell you what we intend to do.
